とは？Quick tip!

When searching the web at somewhere like, lets say... www.google.co.jp とは is super handy.
「とは」の意味は「what is?」と近いと思うです。

For example when googling for moon in English, you will get a heap of 'man in the moon' pics while in Japanese おもちを作るウサギ絵が出ます。This is obviously handy.

What is the moon?
月とは？

あれ？おれは月は知らないの？あんたは馬鹿？！？。。。とか。。。

Not knowing HOW to start something like this, Here I go, tripping into the blog haphazardly. Feel free to kick my ass for mistakes in my Japanese, you know keeping in mind that this Blog is just another study tool for us.

ファミ通 - A rather cheap (¥370) weekly Gaming Magazine. I always read this.
かなり安い（３７０円）毎週出るのゲーム雑誌。私はいつも読みます。

説明；
ファミ from ファミコッン/ Famicon (Family computer) the gaming console.
通 （つう） meaning expert or connoisseur.

例文；
１。なかなか料理通だね・・・
２。こいつはオーストラリアフットボール通
(こいつ is like saying 'this' and can be used for people. In a manner which ain’t all that nice. Oh, this sentence is about you btw Marc)
