I have one hour before I have to go to a Seminar on Final Cut Pro and Panasonic product incorporation. basically about filming footage, capture and storage. Problem; I am going to hear a lot of new language, This is a quick attempt to become familiar with some new 日本語 and brush up on some old stuff (I am also adding hiragana because I cant use my Rikaichan plugins on my iphone)
I am always looking for scary or interesting stuff on YouTube. Doesn't matter that its most likely fake and - most of the time obviously so. It's the inspiration I am looking for. And I learn so many cool words to arm myself with. My conversations often end up with the following kinds of 言葉
Here are some words I liked from the above video; 不気味 - Eery, Ominous 赤ん坊 - baby 必死 - desperate 響く - sound 発見 - discovery 血液 - blood 泣き声 - cry 事実 - truth, fact 不穏 - ugly, unsettled, turbulent, uneasy
And here are some more I think should be added; 嘘 - lie, false 影 - shadow 姿 - (persons) figure, shape 殺人 - murderer, killer 屍 - corpse 死体 - dead person
And finally, What I have to add is for the most part inrelated to the above video. 落ちる is to drop 散る is also fall, but I have heard it used for flutter 飛び散る is to fly, splash or splatter. Like an exploding person or zombies parts would.
Last word for you.
肉塊 - にくかい - used to describe those pieces of flesh.
今週はYongenのプロモション・ビデオが完成しましたけど、色々問題あった。普通にフォトショプとイラストレーターを使える。何ですけど、このプロジェクトにアフターエフエクトを初めて使いました。私はMacのAdobeソフトの方がなれてる。あと、アフターエフエクト5.5しか使ったことがなかった。それでちょっと困りました。で・・・ このブログエントリーにはAEと関係ある単語を書いています。 Look at this screen. I'm still learning Japanese, but maaaaaan learning new software in Japanese hurts my already weakened brain... Here’s some handy language for you (単語はデザィナーか開発員用語。。。かもしらない);
* 開発(かいはつ)- Program(ming) /開発員 - Programmer * 圧縮(あっしゅく)- Compression * 非圧縮(むあっしゅく)- Non-Comressed * 定規(じょうぎ)- Ruler (in this case, also referring to letterboxing) * 解凍(かいとう)- defrost/ Thaw (also used for unzipping/ uncompressing a file) * 背面(はいめん)- Background * 全面(ぜんめん)- Foreground * 保存(ほぞん)- Save/ preserve * 消す(けす)- Delete
Here is the first in a series of visual aides I hill be putting up from time to time. Todays expression; 目立つ/めたつ to stand out be obvious/ bold/ in your face.
We like studying Japanese so much, that we called our blog Japanajism. Read into that what you will. This blog is unashamedly filled with errors and is basically a repository of things we think are interesting and useful. ぜひ読んで下さい。
